Rio Dulce, Guatemala  June 2007

 

We checked in at Livingston on the morning of June 14, motored up the river to Lake Golfete where we raised sail, and by late afternoon arrived at Monkey Bay. We anchored just offshore for the night and dinghied in for the nightly sundown gathering of the cruisers.


June 15, Roy's birthday, we started the process of getting Damiana ready to spend the summer in the tropics and then in the evening dinghied up river to another marina that has a restaurant to celebrate the big six-oh.


Happiness is cruising up the river on a beautiful afternoon..
